South Coast Improvement, Co. Takes First Watch Café Through Build-out

June 30, 2016

South Coast Improvement Company, a design-build general contractor serving New England and the Mid-Atlantic states, recently finished the build-out for the new First Watch Café at 775 East Lancaster Avenue, Suite 140, in Villanova, Pennsylvania. First Watch is the largest and fastest-growing day-time only restaurant concept in the U.S. with more than 280 locations in 26 states.

South Coast Improvement began work on the Villanova location in late February. The build-out included: plumbing, electrical, ductwork, drywall, tiling and brickwork, flooring, painting, prepping kitchen for new equipment and alarm installation. South Coast Improvement finished work in April, with the total cost of the building being $390,000.

“The restaurant industry is a lot like our business. People love it when go out to eat and get served promptly. Yet if the meal isn’t good, it spoils the entire experience. When we take on a build-out like this, we want to do more than meet deadlines and have an excellent finished product. We aim for a positive experience for the client and we believe that to be the case here at First Watch Café,” said Tom Quinlan, president of South Coast Improvement Company. “

First Watch Café in Villanova just opened for business this month.
