The Belmont Condominium Trust

“The Belmont Condominium Trust is a very upscale complex located directly on the ocean in West Harwich, MA. We had the opportunity to engage the services of South Coast Improvement to rebuild one of the multiple wooden decks on this property. This particular deck is approximately 7500 square feet and includes 600 lineal feet or railing.

As the property is extremely busy in the summer months, our documents require us to complete all structural work over the winter months. Any of you that live in Massachusetts are aware, we experienced our worst winter in a century and hit an all time snowfall record and battled bitterly cold temperatures as well. Even with all the adverse conditions, South Coast not only met our deadline but beat it. They exceeded all of our expectations and we would not hesitate to retain their services for any large scale future projects.

I would highly recommend South Coast Improvement for any project that your business of association may require. They are highly ethical, very easy to work with, respond to all questions immediately and the owners of the company are more than willing to listen to anything the customer has to say and also offer money savings suggestions.

They have managed to find the “sweet spot” of competence and quality construction combined with almost obsessive attention to the customer’s needs and the detailed demands of the job. In the summer of 2015, we worked together for the first time in several years on two demanding projects with separate architectural firms.

These projects included conversion of underutilized areas in both buildings, one a former wood working studio and shop, the other storage area in our hockey rink. The former transformed the spaces into three full time classrooms, and a local custodial and service storage closet, the other provided much needed relief to an expanding need for more changing rooms, showers and toilet facilities, all with attendant ventilation and plumbing requirements.

Throughout these two jobs, the company was flexible on changes and willingly undertook these field revisions as needed by the owner. They were fanatical about safety.
