South Coast Improvement Company is thrilled to announce the completion of the new 1,500 square foot Harbormaster Maritime Office in Marion, Massachusetts, a project designed to enhance local operations by centralizing all harbormaster functions in one convenient location. 

Elevated 22 feet above the ground on helical piles, this innovative single-story structure features a beautiful, raised deck that offers stunning waterfront views. The building is not only ADA compliant, thanks to its thoughtfully designed elevator, but also showcases the latest in construction technology with its robust structural steel framing and high-quality pressure-treated wood materials. Every detail from windows and doors to modern interior finishes has been meticulously crafted to ensure durability and functionality. 

Constructed with durability in mind, the facility features robust materials, including structural steel, pressure-treated wood beams, and advanced sheathing that guarantees a watertight environment. The meticulous installation of electrical systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and fire safety (FS) measures highlights a commitment to safety and functionality. 

Inside, the facility is equipped with high-quality finishes that enhance both aesthetics and usability. From elegant flooring and custom millwork to modern bathroom fixtures and countertops, every detail has been carefully considered to create a welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. 

Outside, the project is completed with essential features such as exterior stairs, ramps, railings, and a well-planned asphalt parking lot, which includes electric vehicle charging stations. This foresight ensures that the facility is not only functional but also environmentally friendly, aligning with contemporary expectations of sustainability.
