Total Project Cost: $1.6 Million

SCOPE

According to the National Kidney Foundation website, kidney disease affects an estimated 37 million in the U.S. Many of those patients need kidney dialysis treatment. Fresenius Kidney Care’s construction of a treatment center will go a long way towards providing that care for dialysis patients. South Coast Improvement Company (SCIC) began work on the 16-bed dialysis center in December 2020.

The 16-bed dialysis center includes construction of:

  • Isolation room-a room with negative air pressure–to isolate patients with a contagious disease
  • Staff support offices
  • Water treatment room
  • New mechanical electrical and plumbing system and a full generator

SCIC finished work in September 2021.
