South Coast Improvement Company (SCIC), a leader in commercial design, construction, and management services, is pleased to announce today that Maureen Quinlan has been promoted to Director of Development.
Maureen is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience working with colleagues to cultivate and foster their development. Reporting directly to the President, the Director of Development is responsible for leading the execution of talent acquisition, compensation, onboarding, HR Business Partnering, employee and labor relations, absence Management, organizational effectiveness, and learning and development. She places a high emphasis on supporting and driving the achievement of SCIC’s strategic development goals.
“Maureen has a successful track record of thinking and acting both strategically and tactically to develop solutions aligned with the mission and goals of our organization,” says Eric Hancock, Chief Operating Officer. “Her natural leadership style, coupled with her sharp business sense, is a real strength as we continue to grow our business and expand our services and staff. We expect her proven skills will help us to maintain our high-performing, employee-focused culture through our future growth.”
As part of the SCIC Senior Leadership team, she will work directly with the team to address all Human Resources needs including strategic leadership; employee engagement; employee morale and retention; performance management; risk management; human resources development; workforce planning, and employment strategies. Maureen graduated from
St. Thomas Aquinas College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences.
