Cape May, New Jersey – October 2016 – South Coast improvement Company has been working on fast track renovations for long-time client, Brookdale Senior Living. The Cape May facility is receiving refreshes throughout the community, and a reconfiguration of an entire floor to create a brand new memory care wing.
A demolition of eight rooms was performed on the third floor and an expansive activities room and dining space has been constructed in their place, with new floors, wall finishes and lighting. This space will be occupied by memory care residents and the excellent staff members who provide their everyday care.
The next phase of renovations is kicking off, involving sixty resident room upgrades that include new floors, lighting and paint. A salon, spa, wellness office and country kitchen will also be renovated as part of the fast track phases, ensuring that the South Coast Improvement team moves through the facility with minimal impact on the function and comfort of the staff and residents.
